Exploring London’s Thrills and Charms: Day Three

Today, we took the underground to the London Bridge Experience, also known as the „Horror House.“ It was truly terrifying, with actors following us around and even a guy wielding a chainsaw! Before diving into the scares, we enjoyed some free time to grab a bite to eat.

After our adrenaline rush, we strolled along the River Thames towards the London Eye. On our way, we passed the Millennium and Waterloo Bridges, as well as Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, which we recognized from our students’ book. I must say, I was genuinely impressed by the iconic Ferris wheel; I didn’t expect the London Eye to be that massive! The view from inside the capsules was breathtaking, allowing us to see the entire city and even Big Ben. We were higher than all the surrounding buildings!

Next, we hopped on a red double-decker bus to Camden Town, where we had two hours of free time to explore Camden Market. There were countless shops and stalls filled with clothes and delicious food.

Afterward, we took the underground back to our hostel, where we enjoyed some free time to go out and buy something to eat and drink.
